Exams
There will be three in-class exams, on the dates posted below. (Dates will also be announced in class.) The final exam is Monday, December 5th from 8:00 to 9:55 in a room to be announced.

  • Exam 1: Friday, September 23rd. Remember, one problem from the week 5 assigned homework will be on the exam. Here is an old exam from last semester that covers the same material, feel free to use this as a study guide, although obviously there are plenty of things that are fair game for this exam that are not on this practice exam.

  • Exam 2: Friday, October 28th. Remember, one problem from the week 10 assigned homeowrk will be on the exam. Here is an old exam that you can use as a study guide. The book also has nice reviews at the ends of the chapters.

  • Exam 3: Wednesday, November 30th. One problem will be straight out of HW 14 (the last homework). Also, here is an old exam that covers the same material. Also, the problems from the reviews at the ends of the chapters are nice.

  • Final Exam: Monday, December 5th, 8AM - 955AM in Crouse 211. Here is an old final exam from last semester. You can ignore problem 2b, which is material we didn't cover. Maybe you'll want to replace it with a Lagrange multipliers problem!
