Existence results for some polymeric flows
Polymeric liquids can be modeled by some kinetic equations
(Elastic Dumbbell model, Rigid Dumbbell model)
or by some macroscopic models (such as the Oldroyd model
for non-Newtonian fluids). We present here some
global existence result of weak solutions for these
models. This is a joint work with P.L.Lions
